In case you missed it, I’m a big comic book fan, and I got started when my grandmother got me a 30-pack of Marvel comics one Christmas direct from the J.C. Penney catalog. It was the year that Marvel was celebrating its 25th anniversary, and every November title featured a “portrait” cover.
